1-Year Limited Warranty

Effective August 6, 2026. Applies to orders placed on or after this date.

Every Alpine Trail Co part is designed, built, and finished in the USA, and we stand behind the work. If one of our products fails because of how it was made, we'll make it right.

What's covered

Alpine Trail Co warrants to the original purchaser that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of delivery. This warranty is non-transferable and requires proof of purchase from alpinetrailco.com or an authorized seller.

Covered defects include things like failed welds or seams, mounting points that fail under normal use, powder coat that peels or bubbles without impact or chemical damage, and 3D-printed parts that crack or delaminate under normal use.

What we'll do

If a covered defect appears within the warranty period, we will — at our option — repair the product, replace it with the same or a comparable product, or issue store credit. Replacement shipping within the United States is on us. No restocking fee ever applies to an approved warranty claim.

What's not covered

  • Improper installation — including use of hardware other than what we supply or specify, over-tightened fasteners, or installation in a vehicle or location the product isn't designed for
  • Chemical damage — solvents, degreasers, fuel, harsh or abrasive cleaners, tire shine, battery acid, or any other corrosive substance
  • Modification or alteration of any kind — cutting, drilling, welding, repainting, or repair attempts outside our shop
  • Misuse, abuse, or overloading beyond the product's intended purpose
  • Cosmetic wear — scratches, scuffs, and powder-coat chips from normal use, and corrosion that develops after the coating has been damaged
  • Impact damage — collisions, rollovers, or strikes from cargo or recovery gear, on-road or off
  • Normal wear and tear, including on removable and tool-free components
  • Shipping damage not reported within 7 days of delivery — see our Shipping Policy
  • Products purchased secondhand or from unauthorized sellers

How to make a claim

Email William@alpinetrailco.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the defect and the installation. We typically respond within one business day. Please don't ship anything back until we've confirmed the claim — if a return is needed, we'll send instructions and cover reasonable return shipping on approved claims.

Limitations

Repair, replacement, or store credit as described above is your exclusive remedy under this warranty. To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties — including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — are limited in duration to the one-year term of this warranty, and Alpine Trail Co is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including installation or removal costs, damage to your vehicle or its contents, or loss of use. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Outside the warranty?

If your part is past the one-year mark, the damage isn't something this warranty covers, or you bought your rig with our gear already in it — reach out anyway. We're a small shop and we'd rather keep your gear on the trail. At our discretion we can often help with repair advice, replacement hardware, or discounted replacement parts.
