These came out of R&D: the exact same Trail Cubby design, just cut in thinner 14-gauge steel to test a lighter version. The main frame is raw, uncoated steel — no powder coat. But everything else is full production spec.

Here's exactly what you get:
∙ Raw 14ga main frame — bare steel, no finish (lighter than the standard heavier-plate Trail Cubby)
∙ 10-gauge mounting brackets — powder-coated, same as the full-price part
∙ Pre-installed metal edge protectors on all contact points — included, same as standard
∙ 4 stainless screws, 4 M5 nuts & bolts

So the only thing that's "raw" is the main frame you see — the parts that bolt into your truck are the same finished, powder-coated hardware I ship on every cubby.

Straight talk before you buy:
∙ The raw main frame will surface-rust over time if left bare. Made for someone who wants to finish it their own way — Cerakote, rattle-can, clear coat, raw-and-oiled, whatever your build calls for.
∙ 14-gauge is lighter than the standard Trail Cubby's heavier plate. Plenty strong for cargo duty, just lighter.
∙ Sold as-is / DIY finish. All sales final.
